About Relating Retreats

Stephanie Corona - Facilitator

About the work

As a Relating Arts Facilitator, I create and hold spaces where people can experience deeper self-awareness, authentic connection, and embodied presence — both with themselves and with others. My work bridges the relational, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of personal growth, drawing from a rich background in Authentic Relating, Relatefulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed facilitation.

I see relating as an art form — a living, breathing practice of truth, curiosity, and compassion in motion. Each session, circle, and conversation becomes an opportunity to rediscover what’s real in the moment and to meet it with openness.

Whether I’m guiding a T-group practice, supporting someone one-on-one in an IFS-informed session, or helping communities integrate experiences from journeys, festivals, or life transitions, my work centers on the human capacity for connection — to Self, to others, and to the world.

Background & Training

My path into this work is both professional and deeply personal.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Texas, with a specialization in personal relationships. I’m a Certified Relateful Facilitator and have completed advanced training through Internal Family Systems Counselling Association (IFCA) as an IFS-informed practitioner. In addition, I have walked segments of the Camino with IFS Creator, Dr. Richard Schwartz, as part of the Weekend University's IFS Camino Leadership Summit.

I’ve also been facilitating T-group practice — a cornerstone of Authentic Relating work — for several years, both independently and within community settings and festivals.

My experience as an Air Force medic shaped my understanding of resilience, the fragility of life and importance of human connection. That same devotion to service, presence, and healing now flows through the way I connect with others.

Today, I bring all of that into my facilitation — bridging worlds that rarely meet: the spiritual and the sensual, the professional and the personal, the psychological and the poetic.

Intro

My why is a deeply connected desire to fulfill a yearning to help others cultivate their inner knowing that was revealed to me during my first pilgrimage on the Camino.

My noetic, or inner knowing, experience was a depth of serenity and purpose that was the culmination of miles walked and inner work. I hope to be able to help others, who are in a similar transition phase in their lives, experience their own sense of inner knowing.

Background

My exciting new journey began after two decades of engineering school and industrial careers. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and was a part of a fast moving industry.
